The Spirit of Music

Some of the most spiritual experiences of my life have been singing.

In 1985 I sang with my high school choir in a little church in Mexico City and found myself absolutely transported to another place–of beauty and love and peace.  I felt the same way singing in 2004 with my choir in Carnegie Hall with John Rutter conducting.  It was absolute magic! I have experienced it over and over again, singing at an evening for peace, singing in magnificent cathedrals and beautiful concert halls.

Music creates the space for spirit to be made manifest.  It touches us at the level of the heart, and it changes us.

I am honored to share my original music with you in my debut cd, Dreaming of Peace.  It has been a work in progress for several years, and a long held dream.  I hope that it touches you in a special way and that you find peace as you listen to the words and messages in the songs.
